Curtis
Cabinetry
is a cabinet shop dedicated to Customer Service
and High Quality Cabinetry. In
business since 1987, the owner, Ed Curtis has worked
from his hometown of Middleton, Massachusetts and sustained his business primarily
on word of mouth advertising. Designing cabinetry from its 1200 square foot showroom
and office and crafting cabinets out of a 3500 square foot shop it has occupied
since 1990, Curtis Cabinetry has continually updated its machinery and processes.
Relying on very accurate machinery and proven construction methods, it is able to
efficiently and systematically produce cabinetry for the home and office.
With 23 years of experience, a commitment to high quality, a realistic delivery
schedule, and personal service both before and after a project, we at Curtis Cabinetry
offer great cabinetry at great value!
We recognize the importance of long lasting, trouble free operation, and have selected what many in the industry consider the best cabinet hardware available today. From Salice hinges, to Adar Futura Slides, to leg leveler and cabinet hanging systems from Camar, quality and reliability are the deciding factors in hardware selection. Cabinets are constructed from ¾ inch stock which is selected based on quality and consistency. By out-sourcing its doors , it is able to incorporate not only the impeccable quality and delivery schedule that a leading national door manufacturer, Conestoga Woods is able to offer, but also, vast combinations of styles and designs that would be impossible for a typical shop.
Over the years, we have developed an attitude. Before you jump to some
conclusion, let me explain.
In
a typical job being built in the shop, I am occasionally called on to assess
some issue that one of our employees has raised. It might be an off color streak
of wood in a paneled door, or a piece of hardware that was slightly damaged in
transit, maybe a finish that is not quite right. In answering my employees
question, I will often pose the question of my own, and that question is…” Would
you pay for that?” or “Suppose you are the customer and you just paid x amount
of dollars for this project, would you be happy with that?” We have an attitude
all right.
We believe in working hard to give the best results possible for every job we
produce. We believe in working smart, giving ourselves and our customer the most
“bang for the buck” We believe in honesty and integrity, and are constantly
trying to put ourselves in our customers shoes, and asking ourselves questions
like, “would you pay for that”.
Over these past 23 years, I am happy to say Yes, I would pay for that, our loyal
customers have paid for that, and after you come and visit us at our new
showroom, I believe you will be able to also answer, “Yes, I’ll pay for that!” |
